Structural filler is anatomy work — not "filling lines." Adding volume to the right deep planes lifts the entire face. Adding it incorrectly creates the dreaded "pillow face." Our clinicians work in layers and respect proportion above all.

Is This Right for You?

For the face you remember
before volume left it.

Facial filler clients tend to be women 35 to 65 who notice the bone-deep changes that no skincare reaches: cheeks that have flattened, a chin that's softened in profile, a jawline blurred by descending tissue, hollow temples that throw shadows. The changes are subtle — but they're what makes someone "look tired" or "older" in a way they can't pinpoint.

Restoring those structural foundations doesn't add volume so much as put it back where it used to be. The result is invisible. People say you look rested. They don't say you look "done."

Treatment Areas

Where Facial
Filler Works.

Each zone follows different rules of anatomy, depth, and product selection. Your clinician chooses based on what your face actually needs.

I.

Mid-Face / Cheeks

Volume placed at zygomatic projection lifts the mid-face, supports the lower lid, and softens the nasolabial fold from above. Often the single most-transformative zone.

II.

Chin + Jawline

Chin filler improves profile projection and balances facial proportion. Jawline filler defines the lower face and reduces jowl appearance — especially powerful in profile.

III.

Temples

Hollow temples cause unflattering shadows and visually tilt the face. Filler here is subtle but high-impact — lifts the brow tail and balances the upper face.

What to Expect

Your Filler
Visit, Step by Step.

Unhurried, layered, and built to integrate naturally. We often split treatment across two visits for the most natural settling.

i
Step One

Clinician Consultation

Facial mapping, history review, photo documentation. Your clinician identifies the structural foundations — not just the visible concerns.

ii
Step Two

Product Selection

Juvederm or Restylane — and which formulation — chosen based on tissue depth and behavior needed (soft, structured, lift-grade).

iii
Step Three

Comfortable Injection

Topical numbing applied. Cannulas (blunt-tipped) used for many areas to reduce bruising. Treatment lasts 30–45 minutes; built-in lidocaine keeps it comfortable.

iv
Step Four

Settling + Refinement

Initial swelling subsides over 3–7 days. Final integration in 2–4 weeks. We may suggest a second visit to refine — better than overfilling in one session.

Questions, Answered

Facial Filler FAQ.

Common questions from our consultations. Call (973) 567-7492 with anything we haven't covered.

What's the difference between facial filler and lip filler?
Facial filler builds structure (cheeks, chin, jaw, temples). Lip filler defines and adds volume to the lips themselves. Different products, different depths, different goals — though they're often part of the same overall plan.
How is facial filler priced?
Per syringe of product. Cheeks often use 1–2 syringes per side for noticeable change; chin or jaw may use 1–4 total. Your clinician will quote transparently at consultation based on what your goals actually require.
Will I look "done" or fake?
Not when it's placed correctly. The "pillow face" or overfilled look comes from overcorrection in superficial planes. Our clinicians work in deeper structural layers respecting your existing proportions — the goal is undetectable.
How long does facial filler last?
Cheeks and temples: 12–18+ months. Chin and jawline: 12–24 months due to the firmer products used. Some clients find their first treatment "settles in" and lasts longer than expected.
Is facial filler reversible?
Yes — all HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase (an enzyme) in minutes. This is a major safety advantage and a reason we exclusively use HA-based fillers.
Does it hurt?
Topical numbing handles surface discomfort. Built-in lidocaine in the filler product handles the deeper sensation. Most clients describe it as pressure rather than pain.
How is this different from a face lift?
Filler restores volume non-surgically. A face lift surgically repositions tissue. They address different problems and aren't alternatives — many clients use filler to delay or refine surgical results.
