Is Filler Right for You?

For the woman
who wants her face back
not a different one.

Our filler clients span ages 25 to 65, but most share one quiet observation: a specific area of their face has lost the definition it once had. For younger women, it's often the lips — fuller in their twenties, flatter now. For women in their thirties and forties, it's the mid-face — cheeks that once caught light, nasolabial folds deepening under sleep creases.

Fillers aren't about adding — they're about restoring the architecture of a face you already know. Cheeks that lift the mid-face. A chin that balances the jawline. Lips that look like yours on a good day, not someone else's from a magazine. Tear troughs that no longer cast a shadow.

The best filler outcome is one people feel before they can name. Well-rested. Happy. Healthy. We do it with HA — always reversible, never permanent — and with a physician's reverence for proportion.

The Science

How HA Fillers
Actually Work.

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule your body already produces. It holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water — the ideal natural scaffold.

I.

Biocompatible by Design

Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in your skin, joints, and eyes. HA fillers are synthesized through bacterial fermentation — chemically identical to your own HA, which is why allergic reactions are rare.

II.

Cross-Linked for Longevity

Pure HA dissolves in days. Filler HA is cross-linked (Vycross, NASHA, or XpresHAn technology), creating a stable gel that holds structure for months before gradually metabolizing.

III.

Fully Reversible

Unlike permanent fillers, HA products can be dissolved with an enzyme (hyaluronidase) in minutes. This safety margin is why we exclusively use HA — nothing is irreversible.

What to Expect

Your Filler Visit,
Step by Step.

Unhurried, physician-led, and designed to let your face integrate the filler rather than fight it.

i
Step One

MD Consultation

Medical history, goals, and facial mapping. Your MD identifies the structural foundations — not just the visible concerns — that create your desired outcome.

ii
Step Two

Product Selection

Juvederm or Restylane — and which specific formulation — is chosen based on target area, tissue characteristics, and the behavior (soft, firm, structured) you need.

iii
Step Three

Comfortable Injection

Topical numbing is applied. We use fine needles or blunt-tipped cannulas depending on the zone. Most treatments take 30–45 minutes with minimal discomfort thanks to built-in lidocaine.

iv
Step Four

Settling & Follow-Up

Initial swelling subsides in 3–5 days; final integration occurs over 2–4 weeks. We often recommend a layered approach — build, assess, refine — rather than overloading a single session.

Treatment Areas

Where Filler
Makes a Difference.

The zones we treat most frequently — each with a different product philosophy and injection strategy.

Lip Enhancement

Subtle hydration, defined borders, or structured volume. We build in 0.5-syringe increments so your lips look like your lips — just fuller and better hydrated.

Cheek Augmentation

Mid-face restoration lifts the nasolabial fold from above — often achieving more natural results than injecting the fold directly. Restores youthful zygomatic projection.

Nasolabial & Marionette

Softens the deep folds from nose to mouth and from mouth to chin. Best when paired with cheek or chin support for structural balance.

Tear Trough

Careful, shallow placement restores volume to the under-eye hollow, softening shadows that cause "tired eye." A delicate zone — MD expertise is essential.

Chin & Jawline

Strategic definition improves profile projection, balances a strong or weak chin, and creates a cleaner jawline — often a more striking change than clients expect.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Careful filler placement along the nasal bridge can smooth bumps, lift the tip, and create symmetry — a rhinoplasty alternative for suitable candidates.

Questions, Answered

Dermal Filler FAQ.

The most common questions from our consultations. Still have one? Call (973) 567-7492.

How much do dermal fillers cost in Saddle Brook, NJ?
Fillers are priced per syringe. The number of syringes required depends on the treatment area and your goals. Lips typically use 0.5–1 syringe; cheeks often use 1–2 syringes per side. Exact pricing is discussed transparently during your complimentary MD consultation. Oasis Circle members receive 15% off all filler treatments.
What's the difference between Juvederm and Restylane?
Both are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers. Juvederm products (Volbella, Volluma, Vollure) use Vycross technology for smooth cohesivity — often preferred for lips and integrated volume. Restylane products (Kysse, Lyft, Defyne) use NASHA technology for more structured lift — often preferred for sharp contour definition. Your MD selects based on your anatomy and goals.
Are dermal fillers reversible?
Yes — one of the biggest safety advantages of HA-based fillers. If you dislike the result or experience a complication, hyaluronidase (an enzyme) can be injected to safely and quickly dissolve the filler. This is a key reason we exclusively use HA-based fillers rather than permanent or semi-permanent alternatives.
Do dermal fillers look natural?
They should. Overfilled, "duck-lip," or "pillow-face" appearances are the result of over-treatment — not the filler itself. At Siwa Oasis, our MDs build in layers, respect anatomical proportion, and often split larger treatments across multiple visits so results integrate naturally. You should look like a refreshed version of yourself — not a different person.
How long do lip fillers last?
Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months, depending on the product and your metabolism. Faster metabolizers and very active mouths (singers, speakers) may notice quicker resorption. Cheek fillers tend to last 12–18+ months due to less movement. Touch-ups are more efficient than letting filler fully dissolve before the next visit.
Does getting fillers hurt?
Most HA fillers contain built-in lidocaine to reduce discomfort. We apply topical numbing cream before treatment and can use a dental block for lip treatments when requested. Most clients describe the sensation as brief pressure rather than pain. Blunt-tipped cannulas are used for many areas to further reduce discomfort and bruising.
What's the downtime after filler injections?
Most clients return to daily activities immediately. Mild swelling is common for 1–3 days (especially with lips), and minor bruising may last up to a week. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, and lying flat for 24 hours. Do not plan filler immediately before a major event — give yourself 2–3 weeks for full settling.
Can fillers fix under-eye hollows or dark circles?
Often, yes — when the darkness is caused by a structural hollow (the tear trough) that casts a shadow. HA filler can gently restore volume and lift the hollow, softening the shadow. Dark circles from pigmentation or thin skin are better addressed with laser, topical treatments, or microneedling. An MD consultation distinguishes the cause.
Are dermal fillers safe?
HA fillers have an excellent safety profile when administered by a qualified physician who understands vascular anatomy. The most serious (but rare) risk is intravascular injection — which is why choosing an MD matters. Every filler treatment at Siwa Oasis begins with a clinical assessment, and we use cannulas in high-risk zones to further minimize this risk.
Can I combine fillers with Botox?
Absolutely — they address different problems. Botox relaxes muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles (forehead, frown, crow's feet). Fillers restore volume and define contour. Many clients benefit from a combined approach — sometimes called a "liquid facelift" — designed in a single MD consultation.
Do you offer dermal fillers near Paramus or Hackensack?
Yes. Our clinic is at 350 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ — convenient to Paramus, Hackensack, Fair Lawn, Ridgewood, Lodi, Garfield, Teaneck, and throughout Bergen County. All filler treatments are by appointment only, and consultations are complimentary.
